Section 34-27A-2 Definitions. The following terms as used in this article shall have the following
meanings: (1) APPRAISAL. The act or process of developing an opinion of value of real property;
an opinion of the value of real property; of or pertaining to appraising real property and
related functions such as appraisal practice or appraisal services. (2) APPRAISAL FOUNDATION.
The Appraisal Foundation incorporated as an Illinois not-for-profit corporation on November

Section 45-29-130 County engineer. The county commission shall employ a county engineer, who
shall be a thoroughly qualified and competent civil engineer, possessing all of the qualities
as specified for county engineers under the general laws of the state. The engineer shall

Section 41-4-400 Division created; powers and duties; director. (a) There shall be established
within the Department of Finance the Division of Construction Management. The division shall

Section 45-45-180.02 Performance of road-related services on private property; compensation.
In no case may county personnel or equipment be permitted to perform road related services
on private property where a present public need exists for the county equipment and personnel.
Moreover, the personnel and equipment necessary to perform such work on private property shall
not be permitted to do so unless the Madison County Commission is to be properly compensated
for the road related services performed and for the road construction materials used or sold.
In determining proper compensation for road related services performed and for road construction
materials used or sold, all indirect costs including, but not limited to, overhead, management,

Section 11-54B-8 Costs of supplemental services; assessment of classes; exemptions. (a) A self-help
business improvement district ordinance shall provide that all costs of the supplemental services
provided in a business improvement district will be financed through the levy of a special
assessment on the owners of the real property located within the geographical area of the
district and shall designate the method set forth in the plan as the method which will be
used to determine the amount of such special assessment in a manner which fairly and equitably
distributes the burden of financing the supplemental services among the real property owners
