Section 17-11-18 Time requirements for receipt of absentee ballots. (a) No absentee ballot
shall be opened or counted if received by the absentee election manager by mail, unless postmarked
as of the date prior to the day of the election and received by mail no later than noon on
the day of election, or, if received by the absentee election manager by hand delivery, unless
so delivered by the voter or medical emergency designee to the absentee election manager not
later than the close of the last business day next preceding the election or, if delivered
by the medical emergency designee, by noon on the day of the election. (b) The above provision

Section 7-7-504 Rights acquired in absence of due negotiation; effect of diversion; stoppage
of delivery. (a) A transferee of a document of title, whether negotiable or nonnegotiable,

Section 8-15-31 Definitions. For purposes of this article, the following words and phrases
shall have the respective meanings ascribed by this section: (1) DEFAULT. The failure to perform

Section 7-7-203 Liability for nonreceipt or misdescription. A party to or purchaser for value
in good faith of a document of title, other than a bill of lading, that relies upon the description
of the goods in the document may recover from the issuer damages caused by the nonreceipt

or relinquish possession at destination of any freight transported by it in intrastate commerce
until all tariff rates and charges thereon have been paid, except under such rules and regulations

Section 40-14B-17 Vested premium tax credit - Pro rata allocation. (a) If the total premium
tax credits claimed by all certified investors exceeds the total limits on premium tax credits
established by subsection (a) of Section 40-14B-16, the Alabama Development Office shall allocate
the total amount of premium tax credits allowed under this chapter to certified investors
