Section 12-17-226.10 Written agreement; other terms and conditions. (a) In any case in which an offender is admitted into a pretrial diversion program established under this division, there shall be a written agreement between the district attorney and the offender. The agreement shall include the terms of the pretrial diversion program, the length of the program, as practicable as possible, the costs of the program to the offender, and the period of time after which the district attorney must dispose of the charges against the offender. If, as part of the pretrial diversion program, the offender agrees to plead guilty to a particular charge or charges and receives a specific sentence, an agreement concerning when the plea of guilt will occur, to what charges to which the offender will plead guilty, and any sentence to be imposed shall be approved by and submitted to an appropriate circuit or district court judge having jurisdiction over the offender within the judicial circuit prior...

Section 40-17-371 Cost of collection; distribution of tax proceeds. (a) The Alabama Department of Revenue shall retain one-quarter of one percent (0.25%) of the tax proceeds, less any refunds, from this additional excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel for its cost of collection. The department may adopt rules and such forms as may be necessary for the administration of the excise tax provided for in this article. Section 45-28-244.01 Levy and collection of tax; disposition of funds; Etowah County Development Committee. (a) In Etowah County, there is levied a one cent ($0.01) county sales and use tax in all areas of the county, which may become effective no sooner than January 1, 1996. (b) The tax shall parallel the state sales and use taxes including exemptions therefrom and enforcement proceedings therefor. The Etowah County Commission may administer and collect this tax, or contract with a private entity or the State Department of Revenue to administer and collect this tax, and provide for enforcement penalties by resolution.
