Section 34-8-25 Records and accounts. The secretary-treasurer shall keep a record of the proceedings of the board, shall receive and account for all the moneys derived from the operation of this chapter and shall deposit, or cause to be deposited, all such moneys in the State Treasury to the credit of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors; and the funds shall be subject to withdrawal only upon warrant of the state Comptroller to be issued upon certificate or voucher certified by the secretary-treasurer of the board. Any funds remaining in the State Treasury to the credit of the State Licensing Board for General Contractors at the end of each year shall be paid into the General Fund of the state on or before January 15 in each succeeding year. The board has the right, however, at all times to retain a sum not in excess of 33 percent of its budget of the previous year to meet any emergency that may arise which may affect its efficient operation. Section 8-32-3 Requirements for selling or offering to sell service contracts. (a) Either the provider or its designee shall: (1) Provide a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the service contract to the contract holder.
