Section 34-21-126 Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (a) The
party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission
of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (1) The commission is an instrumentality of the
party states. (2) Venue is proper, and judicial proceedings by or against the commission shall
be brought solely and exclusively, in a court of competent jurisdiction where the principal

Section 34-24-536 Enforcement of interstate compact. (a) The interstate commission, in the
reasonable exercise of its discretion, shall enforce the provisions and rules of the compact.
(b) The interstate commission, by majority vote of the commissioners, may initiate legal action
in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, or, at the discretion of
the interstate commission, in the federal district where the interstate commission has its
principal offices, to enforce compliance with the provisions of the compact, and its promulgated

expedited license granted in a member state shall complete a renewal process with the interstate
commission if the physician: (1) Maintains a full and unrestricted license in a state of principal

supervision, or deferred disposition for any offense by a court of appropriate jurisdiction;
