Section 7-4-110 Electronic presentment. (a) "Agreement for electronic presentment"
means an agreement, clearing-house rule, or Federal Reserve regulation or operating circular,
providing that presentment of an item may be made by transmission of an image of an item or
information describing the item ("presentment notice") rather than delivery of the
item itself. The agreement may provide for procedures governing retention, presentment, payment,
dishonor, and other matters concerning items subject to the agreement. (b) Presentment of
an item pursuant to an agreement for presentment is made when the presentment notice is received.
(c) If presentment is made by presentment notice, a reference to "item" or "check"
in this article means the presentment notice unless the context otherwise indicates. (Acts

Section 8-36-2 Cancellation of residential roofing contract; notice of cancellation; payments.
(a) A person who has entered into a written contract with a residential roofing contractor
to provide goods or services to be paid from the proceeds of a property and casualty insurance
policy may cancel the contract prior to midnight on the fifth business day if the insured
receives written notice from the insurer that all or any part of the claim or contract is
not a covered loss under the insurance policy or that the covered claim will not be sufficient
to cover the amount of the contract. Cancellation shall be evidenced by the insured giving
written notice of cancellation to the residential roofing contractor at the address stated
in the contract. Notice of cancellation, if given by mail, shall be effective upon deposit

Section 10A-2-13.22 Dissenters' notice. REPEALED IN THE 2019 REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2019-94
EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2020. THIS IS NOT IN THE CURRENT CODE SUPPLEMENT. (a) If proposed corporate
action creating dissenters' rights under Section 10A-2-13.02 is authorized at a shareholders'
meeting, the corporation shall deliver a written dissenters' notice to all shareholders who
satisfied the requirements of Section 10A-2-13.21. (b) The dissenters' notice must be sent
no later than 10 days after the corporate action was taken, and must: (1) State where the
payment demand must be sent; (2) Inform holders of shares to what extent transfer of the shares
will be restricted after the payment demand is received; (3) Supply a form for demanding payment;
(4) Set a date by which the corporation must receive the payment demand, which date may not
be fewer than 30 nor more than 60 days after the date the subsection (a) notice is delivered;

Section 23-1-80.1 County commissions - Use of county roads in conducting timber operations.
(a) A county commission, by ordinance or resolution, may require all persons or firms that
own timber in any unincorporated area of the county which plan to utilize county roads for
delivery of pulpwood, logs, poles, posts, or wood chips to any wood yard or processing plant
to provide notice of their intent to utilize the county roads to the county commission. For
purposes of this section, the term timber owner means any person or firm that has entered
into a contract with a landowner for the purposes of severing that timber and delivering pulpwood,
logs, poles, posts, or wood chips to any wood yard or processing plant. In the case where
the landowner harvests his or her own timber and delivers pulpwood, logs, poles, posts, or

Section 27-22A-6 Termination of portable electronics insurance. Notwithstanding any other provision
of law: (1) An insurer may terminate or otherwise change the terms and conditions of a policy
of portable electronics insurance only upon providing the policyholder and enrolled customers
with at least 30 days' notice. (2) If the insurer changes the terms and conditions, then the
insurer shall provide the vendor policyholder with a revised policy or endorsement and each
enrolled customer with a revised certificate, endorsement, updated brochure, or other evidence
indicating a change in the terms and conditions has occurred and a summary of material changes.

Section 10A-1-4.01 Filing instrument requirements. (a) A filing instrument must: (1) be typewritten,
printed, or electronically transmitted. If a filing instrument is electronically transmitted,
the filing instrument shall be in a format that can be retrieved or reproduced in typewritten

Section 32-8-38 Use of duplicate copy of application as permit to operate motor vehicle; return
of duplicate and tags upon refusal to issue certificate. (a) The rules and regulations promulgated
by the department shall make suitable provisions for the use by an applicant of the duplicate
copy of his or her application for a certificate of title to serve as a permit for the operation
of the motor vehicle described in the application until the department either issues the certificate
of title of such motor vehicle or refuses to issue the certificate; and every designated agent

Section 36-25A-3 Notice requirements. (a) Unless otherwise specified by law and as provided
herein, any governmental body subject to this chapter, except for an advisory board, advisory
commission, advisory committee, task force, or other advisory body created solely to make
recommendations on public policy issues and composed of persons who do not receive compensation

Section 10A-2A-14.06 Known claims against dissolved corporation. (a) A dissolved corporation
may dispose of any known claims against it by following the procedures described in subsection
(b) at any time after the effective date of the dissolution of the corporation. (b) A dissolved
corporation may give written notice of the dissolution to the holder of any known claim. The
notice must: (1) identify the dissolved corporation; (2) describe the information required
to be included in a claim; (3) provide a mailing address to which the claim is to be sent;
(4) state the deadline, which may not be fewer than 120 days from the effective date of the
notice, by which the dissolved corporation must receive the claim; and (5) state that if not
