Section 33-5-65 Reinstatement of certification following cancellation, suspension, or revocation. Any person whose boater safety certification has been cancelled, suspended, or revoked under any provision of Alabama law, by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources, or by any court of competent jurisdiction shall, upon application for reinstatement of the certification, pay to the Director of Public Safety a fee of fifty dollars ($50) for each cancellation, suspension, or revocation action. An additional fifty dollars ($50) is imposed if the cancelled, suspended, or revoked certification is not voluntarily surrendered within 30 days of a cancellation, suspension, or revocation notice. Upon receipt of the reinstatement fee, clearance for recertification will be provided. The second and any subsequent clearance for recertification for this action will be provided for a fee of five dollars ($5).
