Section 9-10A-10 Election of directors. If an original director who is required to reside in a particular county is to be selected by means of an election, the board of supervisors who determined that an election would be the method of selection shall call the election. Said election shall be held, within 30 days after need for a watershed management authority has been determined, as provided in Section 9-10A-8. Due notice shall be required prior to said election. All residents of the county where the director must reside who also reside within the boundaries of the authority shall be eligible to vote in said election, and only said residents shall be eligible to vote. Said residents shall be 18 years of age or older. Section 11-99A-15 Issuance of bonds by districts; terms and assessments. (a) A district may borrow money by the issuance of bonds, which bonds shall be revenue obligations, payable exclusively out of assessments levied on land within the district, and the bonds shall not be supported by the full faith and credit of the appointing government.
