Section 41-10-541 Definitions. (a) The following words and phrases used in this division, and others evidently intended as the equivalent thereof, shall, in the absence of clear implication herein otherwise, be given the following respective interpretations herein: (1) APPROPRIATED FUNDS. Net TVA payments to the extent such payments are pledged and appropriated to the authority pursuant to Section 41-10-550. (2) AUTHORITY. The public corporation organized pursuant to this division. (3) AUTHORITY GUARANTY. An agreement of the authority pursuant to which the payment of debt service referable to bonds, notes, or other evidences of indebtedness of a development agency is guaranteed by the authority. Section 11-65-10 Powers and duties of commission. When authorized by one or more elections as provided in Section 11-65-4, a commission shall have the powers and duties necessary to license, regulate, and supervise horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon and greyhound racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon within the commission municipal jurisdiction, including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the powers and duties hereinafter set forth in this section or in other sections of this chapter. Section 22-22-2 Purpose of chapter; declaration of policy. Section 9-10B-20 Submission of declaration of beneficial use; requirements and limitations; certificate of use. (a) A declaration of beneficial use shall be submitted within 90 days of the promulgation of rules and regulations governing such declarations by each public water system that regularly serves, individually or in combination with other such systems, more than 10,000 households and by each person who diverts, withdraws, or consumes more than 100,000 gallons of water on any day from the waters of the state.
