Section 45-49-91.09 Composition of board; terms. (a) The board shall be composed of seven members,
with position numbers and initial terms as follows: (1) Positions One and Four, one year upon
creation of the board. (2) Positions Two and Five, two years upon creation of the board. (3)
Positions Three, Six, and Seven three years upon creation of the board. (b) Positions One,
Two, and Three shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees of the Fowl River Volunteer Fire
District. Positions Four, Five, and Six shall be appointed by the Fowl River Area Civic Association.
Position Seven shall be appointed by the Mobile County Commission. All board members shall
own property and reside within the district. The officers of the board shall be a chair, vice
chair, secretary, and treasurer. At the discretion of the board, the offices of secretary

Articulation and General Studies Committee. (a)(1) The Commission on Higher Education is authorized
to review periodically all new and existing programs and units of instruction, research, and
public service funded by state appropriations at the state universities and colleges and to
share with the appropriate governing board, through the president of the institution, and
state Legislature, its recommendations. (2) As a part of its program review process, the commission
shall enforce, monitor, and report on minimum degree productivity standards for all existing
programs of instruction at public two-year and four-year institutions of higher education.

Section 22-3-1 County boards of health - How constituted. The boards of censors of county medical
societies in affiliation with the Medical Association of the State of Alabama and organized
in accordance with the provisions of its constitution, as it now or may hereafter exist, are
constituted county boards of health of their respective counties, including all incorporated
municipalities therein, but shall be under the general supervision and control of the State

Section 34-23-90 Authority; composition. (a) The Alabama State Board of Pharmacy is vested
with the authority to carry out the purposes of and enforce this chapter. The board shall
consist of five members who are citizens of this state. The members of the board shall be
licensed pharmacists who have been licensed in this state for a minimum of five years and
who are actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy or pharmacy administration, or both.

Authority shall be governed by a board of directors. All powers of the authority shall be
