Section 9-18A-2 Members of compact board; appointment, terms, etc.; designation of deputy or assistant. (a) The Governor shall serve as one member of the Southern States Energy Board or may appoint another person to serve as his representative. Either the Governor or the person appointed by the Governor may designate another person as a deputy or assistant to such member. (b) The President of the Senate shall appoint one member of the Southern States Energy Board from among the membership of the Senate.
