Section 24-1-22 Definitions. The following terms, wherever used or referred to in this article, shall have the following respective meanings, unless a different meaning clearly appears from the context: (1) AUTHORITY or HOUSING AUTHORITY. A public body organized as a body corporate and politic in accordance with the provisions of this article for the purposes, with the powers and subject to the restrictions set forth. (2) CITY. Any city or incorporated town in the State of Alabama. (3) COUNCIL. The legislative body, council, board of commissioners or other body charged with governing the city. (4) CITY CLERK and MAYOR. Section 9-14E-5 Acceptance of proposals; project agreement; Gulf State Park Project Committee. (a) No later than 30 days after acceptance of a proposal by the Governor, the Governor shall submit the accepted proposal to the Director of Finance and Alabama Building Commission for evaluation, review, and comments pertaining to the information provided in the proposal.
