Section 40-23-4 Exemptions. (a) There are exempted from the provisions of this division and
from the computation of the amount of the tax levied, assessed, or payable under this division
the following: (1) The gross proceeds of the sales of lubricating oil and gasoline as defined
in Sections 40-17-30 and 40-17-170 and the gross proceeds from those sales of lubricating
oil destined for out-of-state use which are transacted in a manner whereby an out-of-state
purchaser takes delivery of such oil at a distributor's plant within this state and transports
it out-of-state, which are otherwise taxed. (2) The gross proceeds of the sale, or sales,
of fertilizer when used for agricultural purposes. The word "fertilizer" shall not
be construed to include cottonseed meal, when not in combination with other materials. (3)
The gross proceeds of the sale, or sales, of seeds for planting purposes and baby chicks and

Section 32-9-20 Schedule of restrictions. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to drive
or move on any highway in this state any vehicle or vehicles of a size or weight except in
accordance with the following: (1) WIDTH. Vehicles and combinations of vehicles, operating
on highways with traffic lanes 12 feet or more in width, shall not exceed a total outside
width, including any load thereon, of 102 inches, exclusive of mirrors or other safety devices

Section 37-15-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter the following words have the following

Section 24-5-2 Definitions. Unless clearly indicated otherwise by the context, the following
words when used in this article, for purposes of this article, shall have the meanings respectively
ascribed to them in this section: (1) ALABAMA MANUFACTURED HOUSING COMMISSION FUND. The fund

Section 34-14C-1 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) BOARD. The Board of Home Medical Equipment as established by this chapter. (2)

Section 11-50-390 Definitions. When used in this article, the following words and phrases shall
have the following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
(1) MUNICIPALITY. Any incorporated city or town in the State of Alabama. (2) GOVERNING BODY.

Section 24-5-33 Penalties for violations of article; suspension of license tags; additional
relief from violations. (a) It is a misdemeanor for any person to install, allow to be installed,
occupy, or allow to be occupied, any manufactured home or manufactured building in this state
which is not in accordance with the uniform standards and the rules and regulations adopted
and set forth by the commission pursuant to this article. (b) The commission is authorized
