Section 10A-3-7.09 Involuntary dissolution - Venue and service of process. Every action for the involuntary dissolution of a nonprofit corporation shall be commenced by the Attorney General in the circuit court for the county in which the nonprofit corporation's principal office is located in this state, and if none in this state, in the circuit court for the county in which the nonprofit corporation's most recent registered office is located. Summons shall issue and be served as in other civil actions. In order to exercise its powers under this chapter, a public entity shall take the following steps: (1) The local governing body shall hold a public hearing at which all interested parties are afforded a reasonable opportunity to express their views on the concept of tax increment financing, on the proposed creation of a tax increment district and its proposed boundaries, and its benefits to the public entity.
