Section 24-5-6 Licenses for sale of manufactured homes. (a) Any manufacturer or dealer within or without this state shall apply for a license to sell manufactured homes in this state. (b) Applications shall be obtained from and submitted to the commission. Each applicant shall be a citizen of the United States or, if not a citizen of the United States, a person who is legally present in the United States with appropriate documentation from the federal government. (c) The original license fee and the renewal fee shall be established by the commission by rule pursuant to Section 24-6-4. Each sales or manufacturing location shall be required to be licensed at the same rate and basis as others. The license shall be valid from January 1 until December 31 of the year in which the license was issued or until revoked as provided in this section. Section 27-7-17 Licenses - Contents; centralized producer license registry. (a) The license of a producer or service representative shall state the name and address of the licensee, the personal identification number, date of issuance, the lines of authority, the expiration date, and any other information the commissioner deems necessary. Section 40-12-398 Bond prerequisite to issuance of license. Before any master dealer license may be issued to a new motor vehicle dealer, used motor vehicle dealer, motor vehicle rebuilder, or motor vehicle wholesaler, the applicant shall deliver to the commissioner a good and sufficient surety bond, executed by the applicant as principal and by a corporate surety company qualified to do business in the state as surety, in the sum of not less than fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) or an amount as prescribed by the department. Section 40-17-332 Licenses required. (a) Each person engaged in business in this state as a supplier shall first obtain a supplier's license. The fee for a supplier's license is two hundred dollars ($200). A nonresident of this state, or a resident of this state who is licensed by another state, may become an auctioneer or apprentice auctioneer in this state by conforming to this chapter, or in the case of a nonresident from a nonlicensing state, such person may be licensed provided an examination is given and passed and the person has at least five years' experience in the auction business.
