Section 27-60-2 Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact. The State of Alabama hereby agrees to the following interstate compact known as the Interstate Insurance Product Regulation Compact: ARTICLE I. PURPOSES. The purposes of this compact are, through means of joint and cooperative action among the compacting states: 1. To promote and protect the interest of consumers of individual and group annuity, life insurance, disability income, and long-term care insurance products; 2. To develop uniform standards for insurance products covered under the compact; 3. Section 45-37A-51.05 Retirement and relief fund. (a) For the purpose of the deductions from salary provided for in this section, the salary of a fireman or policeman shall be deemed to be the same as his or her salary is for the purpose of payroll deductions provided for in Section 9 of Act 929. Section 6-12-2 Definitions. As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings: (1) ADJUSTED FOR INFLATION. Section 25-11-14 Uncollected food stamp overissuances. (a) An individual filing a new claim for unemployment compensation shall disclose at the time of filing such claim, on a form provided, whether he or she owes an uncollected food stamp overissuance. The secretary shall notify the appropriate Department of Human Resources agency of any individual who discloses that he or she owes an uncollected food stamp overissuance and who is determined to be eligible for unemployment compensation.
