Section 45-9-170 Regulation of junkyards; public nuisances; enforcement. (a) The regulation of the accumulation and storage of junk, inoperable motor vehicles, and other litter within the unincorporated areas of Chambers County, and licensing the operation of junkyards within the unincorporated areas of Chambers County is hereby declared to be in the public interest and necessary to promote the public safety, health, welfare, convenience, and enjoyment of public travel; to protect the public investment in public highways; to preserve and enhance the scenic beauty of lands and the environment; and to promote the conservation of natural mineral resources by encouraging recycling. Section 33-5-52 Boater safety certification generally. (a) Every person, except those specifically exempted by statutory enactment, within five years from April 28, 1994, shall procure a boater safety certification before operating a motorized vessel upon the waters of this state, as defined in Section 33-5-3. This section shall not apply to any sailboat, rowboat, or canoe. Section 34-43-6 Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. (a) There is created the Alabama Board of Massage Therapy. The purpose of the board is to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public by ensuring that licensed massage therapists, massage therapy schools, and massage therapy instructors meet prescribed standards of education, competency, and practice.
