Section 9-11-263 Consent to acquisition of lands, etc., for establishment of migratory bird
reservations. Consent of the State of Alabama is given to the acquisition by the United States
by purchase, gift, devise or lease of such areas of land or water or of land and water in
the State of Alabama as the United States may deem necessary for the establishment of migratory
bird reservations in accordance with the act of Congress approved February 18, 1929, entitled
"An Act to more effectively meet the obligations of the United States under the Migratory
Bird Treaty with Great Britain by lessening the dangers threatening migratory game birds from

Section 9-11-56.1 Nonresident fishing licenses - Commercial license. (a) The Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources, hereinafter referred to as "the department"
or duly authorized designees of the department shall sell and issue commercial fishing licenses
to residents of other states, which other states reciprocate the sale and issuance of similar
such commercial fishing licenses to residents of Alabama to fish the waters of their respective
states. (b) The amount to be charged for such nonresident commercial fishing license shall
be the same as is charged a resident of Alabama for such a license in the reciprocating state,
but in no event shall the amount be less than the prevailing amount charged by the department
of commercial fishing licenses for Alabama residents. (c) Nonresident commercial fishing licensees
shall be subject to the same rules, regulations and requirements of law and of the department

Section 11-65-20 Terms of operator's license. (a) An operator's license issued under this chapter,
whether for horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon or for greyhound racing and pari-mutuel
wagering thereon, shall be for an initial period of 20 years, but shall be subject to renewal
as provided in this section. A commission shall have no power to modify the terms of an operator's
license, once issued, without the prior written consent of the holder of such license. An
