Section 9-11-237 Sale and purchase of game birds and animals including the meat or other product thereof. Any person, firm, or corporation who sells, offers, or exposes for sale, buys, purchases, barters, or exchanges anything of value for any game bird or game animal or any part thereof at any time shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $250.00 nor more than $500.00 for each offense. Duly licensed catchers of fur-bearing animals may sell to regularly licensed buyers or dealers only the furs, skins, or pelts of fur-bearing animals which they lawfully take, capture, or kill. The licensed catcher of fur-bearing animals may sell or offer for sale for food the dressed carcass of edible fur-bearing animals named by law or regulations. Section 3-7A-2 Dogs, cats, and ferrets to be immunized; sale, etc., of vaccine; vaccination exemptions. (a) Every owner of a dog, cat, or ferret required to be immunized for rabies as defined in this chapter, shall cause the animal to be immunized by the rabies officer, his or her authorized representative, or any duly licensed veterinarian, when the animal reaches three months of age and subsequently in accordance with the intervals specified in the vaccine's license. Section 34-23-9 Purity of drugs dispensed. No person shall compound or sell or offer for sale or cause to be compounded, sold, or offered for sale any medicine, drug, poison, chemical, or pharmaceutical preparation that is adulterated. Any one of the above-named substances shall be deemed to be adulterated if it is sold by a name recognized in the United States Pharmacopoeia or National Formulary and it differs from the standard of strength, quality, or purity as determined by the test laid down therein. A product may be of a lesser strength only if the product is clearly labeled with the actual strength.
