Section 8-8-7 Maximum rates of interest - Exemption of bonds, notes, etc., of state, instrumentalities,
localities, etc. Any bonds, notes, warrants, other evidences of indebtedness, or securities
issued by the State of Alabama or any department, agency, or instrumentality thereof, by any
not-for-profit public or private corporation at any time organized or created pursuant to
act of the Legislature or executive order of the Governor for the purpose of acting as an

Section 41-10-81 Definitions. When used in this article, the following terms shall have the
following meanings, respectively, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise: (1) CORPORATION.

Section 40-12-270 Disbursement of net proceeds from license taxes and registration fees; Secondary
Road Committee created. (a) The moneys collected each month by the judge of probate from motor
vehicle license taxes and registration fees, after deducting therefrom the amounts referred
to in subdivisions (1) and (2) of subsection (a) of Section 40-12-269, the moneys remaining
