Section 11-54A-4 Filing of application; authorization of incorporation by governing body of
city. An authority may be organized pursuant to the provisions of this chapter. In order to
incorporate such a public corporation, any number of natural persons, not less than three,
who are duly qualified electors of the city, shall first file a written application with the
governing body of the city, which application shall: (1) Contain a statement that the applicants
propose to incorporate the authority pursuant to the provisions of this chapter; (2) State
the proposed location of the principal office of the authority, which shall be within the
corporate limits of the city; and (3) State that each of the applicants is a duly qualified

Section 27-17A-33 Rights of purchaser; cancellation of contract; revocability. (a) A purchaser,
by providing written notice to the certificate holder, may cancel a preneed contract within
30 days of the date that the contract was executed provided that the funeral merchandise and
funeral services have not yet been used. Upon providing the notice, the purchaser shall be
entitled to a complete refund of the amount paid, except for the amount allocable to any funeral

Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating a refinery
or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving
motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state
as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent. Failure to
comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of not less than five

or transfer; certificate of assessment. To prevent motor vehicles from escaping taxation and
to provide for a more efficient procedure for the assessment and collection of taxes due on
