Section 22-22-7 Technical and other advisory committees. (a) In order to make available to the commission the services of an advisory body on such technical matters as the commission shall require, there is hereby created the Technical Advisory Committee to the commission which shall consist of the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries, the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources, the Director of the Alabama Development Office and the State Geologist, each of whom shall be members of said advisory committee throughout his respective term and until the appointment of his successor. The Technical Advisory Committee shall meet on call of the chairman of the commission and shall advise the chairman and the commission on any technical matters referred to it by the chairman of the commission. Section 32-9A-2 Compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations; in-service training by law enforcement officers. (a)(1) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), no person may operate a commercial motor vehicle in this state, or fail to maintain required records or reports, in violation of the federal motor carrier safety regulations as prescribed by the U.S. Department of Transportation, 49 C.F.R. Section 34-24-363 Witnesses - How subpoenaed and sworn; failure to comply. (a) Subject to the Merit System, the Attorney General may appoint as many assistant attorneys general and other employees as the public interest requires by reason of the volume of work in his or her office. (b) There is created and established the Lee County Cemetery Preservation Commission to be composed of five members to be appointed by the Lee County Commission of Lee County for terms of four years.
