Section 11-51-90.2 Purchase of business license; classification of taxpayers; vehicle decals;
determination of gross receipts; construction with other provisions. (a) Every taxpayer required
to purchase a business license under this chapter shall: (1) Purchase a business license for
each location at which it does business in the municipality, except as otherwise provided
by the municipality. (2) Except as provided in Section 11-51-193, with respect to taxpayers
subject to state licensing board oversight, be classified into one or more of the following

Section 11-89A-6 Board of directors of authority; election; terms of office; vacancies; qualifications;
expenses; meetings; notice and waiver; resolutions; impeachment. (a) Each authority shall
have a board of directors composed of the number of directors provided in the certificate
of incorporation, as most recently amended; provided, however, that in the case of any authority
in existence and incorporated prior to May 11, 1989, the board shall consist of three directors

Section 2-8-102 Permit required of buyers of soybeans. Any individual, partnership, corporation,
association or other business unit which buys soybeans in Alabama from the producer thereof
shall, in the event assessments are required to be deducted from the purchase price of such
soybeans under the provisions of this article, obtain from the Commissioner of Agriculture
and Industries an annual permit which shall authorize such individual or business firm to
engage in the business of buying soybeans in Alabama. The permit required by this section
shall expire on June 30 in each year and shall be renewable as of July 1 unless revoked by

Section 38-4-14 Limitations on use of public assistance benefits. (a) For the purposes of this
section, the term public assistance benefits means money or property provided directly or
indirectly to eligible persons through programs of the federal government, the state, or any
political subdivision thereof, and administered by the Alabama Department of Human Resources.
(b)(1) A recipient of public assistance benefits may not use any portion of the benefits for
the purchase of any alcoholic beverage, tobacco product, or lottery ticket. Any person who
