Section 25-1-30 Equal pay and employment requirements. (a) This act shall be known as the Clarke-Figures
Equal Pay Act. (b) An employer, including the state or any of its political subdivisions,
including public bodies, may not pay any of its employees at wage rates less than the rates
paid to employees of another sex or race for equal work within the same establishment on jobs
the performance of which requires equal skill, effort, education, experience, and responsibility,
and performance under similar working conditions, except where the payment is made pursuant

Section 45-44-244.02 Definitions. As used in this subpart, or in any ordinance or resolution
adopted in pursuance thereof, the following words or terms shall have the meaning ascribed

Section 25-7-42 Limitations on labor peace agreements, etc.; rights under federal labor laws;
project labor agreements. (a) A county, municipality, or any other political subdivision of
this state shall not enact or administer any ordinance, rule, policy, or other mandate that
creates requirements, regulations, or processes relating to labor peace agreements or similar

to be public information. (a) Except as limited in subsection (c), all rate filings and related

Section 40-18-392 (Tax credit expires January 1, 2019, per subsection (g)). Qualifications
for and applicability of tax credit. (a) An Alabama small business tax credit is hereby allowed
for any Alabama small business employer that creates a new job and hires a new full-time employee

(a) Except as provided in subsection (g) of Section 13A-11-90, an employer and the owner and/or

death; actions for injury or death resulting from willful conduct; attorney's fees in settlements

Section 17-8-13 Certain election officials excused from employment to perform election duties.
(a) All laws to the contrary notwithstanding, any precinct election official appointed pursuant
to Section 17-8-1 shall be excused from his or her employment without penalty of loss of time
for election day only in order to perform the duties of the position to which he or she has
been appointed. Proper documentation of the appointment and the dates of the required service
