Section 25-11-3 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following words and phrases shall
have the following meanings: (1) CLAIM INFORMATION. Data related to whether an individual
is receiving, has received, or has made application for unemployment compensation, the amount
of such compensation being received or to be received by the individual, and the individual's
current or most recent home address. (2) COMMISSIONER. The Commissioner of the State of Alabama,
Department of Human Resources. (3) CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS. The person within the Department
of Labor authorized to maintain the data collected under this chapter, including, but not
limited to, all employment hiring data entered into the State Directory of New Hires, wage
information, and unemployment claim and compensation information. (4) DEPARTMENT. The State
of Alabama, Department of Industrial Relations. (5) EMPLOYEE. An individual in the employ

Section 26-1-2 Durable power of attorney; appointment by court of guardian, etc., subsequent
to execution of durable power of attorney; effect of death of principal upon agency relationship;

Section 27-3A-5 Standards for utilization review agents. (a) Except as provided in subsection
(b), all utilization review agents shall meet the following minimum standards: (1) Notification
of a determination by the utilization review agent shall be mailed or otherwise communicated
to the provider of record or the enrollee or other appropriate individual within two business
days of the receipt of the request for determination and the receipt of all information necessary
to complete the review. (2) Any determination by a utilization review agent as to the necessity
or appropriateness of an admission, service, or procedure shall be reviewed by a physician

Section 27-45-2 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the respective

Section 31-9-10 Local emergency management organizations; emergency powers of political subdivisions.
(a) Each political subdivision of this state is hereby authorized and directed to establish
a local organization for emergency management in accordance with the state emergency management
plan and program and may confer or authorize the conferring, upon members of the auxiliary
police, the powers of peace officers, subject to such restrictions as shall be imposed. The
governing body of the political subdivision is authorized to appoint a director, who shall
