Section 22-22A-5 Powers and functions of department; representation of department by Attorney General in legal actions. Section 40-9F-4 Tax credits calculated, claimed, reserved, granted; transfer or assignment of tax credits. (a) The state portion of any tax credit against the tax imposed by Chapters 16 and 18, for the taxable year in which the certified rehabilitation is placed in service, shall be equal to 25 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for certified historic structures, and shall be 10 percent of the qualified rehabilitation expenditures for qualified pre-1936 non-historic structures. (a) No qualified organization shall be permitted to operate a bingo game unless the county governing body, or the governing bodies of the respective cities and towns, within their respective jurisdictions, issues a permit to the organization authorizing it to do so. The permit required by this article is in addition to, and not in lieu of, any other business license which may be required by law, and no bingo game shall be operated until all required licenses have been obtained.
