Section 22-22-9 Powers and duties; enforcement of orders; permits; civil penalties for violations. Section 5-17-8 Reports to Administrator of Alabama Credit Union Administration; powers of administrator. (a) Credit unions shall report to the Administrator of the Alabama Credit Union Administration at least annually on or before January 31 in such manner and form as required by the administrator for that purpose. Additional reports may be required. Credit unions shall be examined at least every 18 months by employees of the administration or by other persons designated by the administrator. Section 8-21A-8 Dealer's action against supplier for violations; civil liability and remedies. Any dealer may bring an action against a supplier in court of competent jurisdiction for damages sustained by the dealer as a result of supplier's violation of any part of this chapter, together with the actual costs of the action, including but not limited to, reasonable attorney's fees along with any consequential damages sustained by the dealer. Section 8-20-5 Limitations on cancellations, modifications, terminations, and nonrenewals of franchise relationships. Section 34-14A-15 Recovery fund. (a) The board may establish a Homeowners' Recovery Fund for the purpose of consumer protection, consumer education, and consumer awareness. An aggrieved homeowner may recover actual economic damages, not including interest and court costs, sustained within the state as the direct result of conduct of a licensee in violation of this chapter or the rules of the board from the Homeowners' Recovery Fund. Section 34-2-36 Penalties; hearing; enforcement; appeal. (a) On or after April 28, 1999, any person who knowingly, willfully, or intentionally violates any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor.
