Section 2-21-25 Rules and regulations. (a) The commissioner, with the approval of the board,
is authorized to promulgate such rules and regulations for commercial feeds and pet foods
as are specifically authorized in this chapter and such other reasonable rules and regulations
as may be necessary for the efficient enforcement of this chapter. In the interest of uniformity,
the commissioner shall, by regulations, adopt, unless he determines that they are inconsistent
with the provisions of this chapter or are not appropriate to conditions which exist in this
state, the following: (1) The official definitions of feed ingredients and official feed terms
adopted by the Association of American Feed Control Officials and published in the official

Section 30-3B-206 Simultaneous proceedings. (a) Except as otherwise provided in Section 30-3B-204,
a court of this state may not exercise its jurisdiction under this article if, at the time
of the commencement of the proceeding, a proceeding concerning the custody of the child has
been commenced in a court of another state having jurisdiction substantially in conformity

Section 34-24-534 Rulemaking functions of the interstate commission. (a) The interstate commission
shall promulgate reasonable rules in order to effectively and efficiently achieve the purposes
of the compact. Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event the interstate commission exercises
its rulemaking authority in a manner that is beyond the scope of the purposes of the compact,
or the powers granted hereunder, then such an action by the interstate commission shall be

Section 8-19-8 Restraining orders. (a) Whenever the office of the Attorney General or the office
of the district attorney has reason to believe that any person is engaging in, has engaged
in or is about to engage in any act or practice declared to be unlawful by this chapter, the

Section 24-8-13 Recommendation for hearing by investigator; order for hearing; parties' right
to take civil action; amendment of complaint; subpoenas; refusal to allow discovery; hearing;

Section 30-3C-9 Hearing on petition to prevent abduction. (a) If a petition is filed under
this chapter, the court may set a preliminary hearing as necessary, and shall cause to be
issued all summonses and notices as required by law and otherwise deemed necessary and appropriate.

Section 45-8-21.01 Issuance of license; review. (a) All other provisions of law, rules, or
regulations to the contrary notwithstanding, the Alabama Alcoholic Beverage Control Board
shall absolutely have no authority to issue any form of on-premise license in any municipality
in Calhoun County, Alabama, for the retail sale of any form of intoxicating beverages, including,
but not limited to, beer and other forms of malt beverages, wine, liquor, or other alcoholic
beverages regulated by the board, unless the application therefor has first been approved
by the governing body of the county or the municipality within whose corporate limits the
