Section 8-6-19 Civil liabilities of sellers, agents, etc.; remedies of purchasers. Section 6-1-3 Rules for expedited civil actions under certain circumstances. (a) The Supreme Court shall adopt guidelines to promote the prompt, efficient, and cost-effective resolution of civil actions. Section 8-22-16 Penalties. (a) Any person who violates this chapter shall be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000) per violation for each offense. Any such person shall also be liable for attorney fees and shall be subject to injunctive relief. Each day that a violation of this chapter occurs shall be considered as a separate violation. (b) The penalty may be assessed and recovered in a civil action brought by the Attorney General, or by any district attorney in any court of competent jurisdiction.
