Section 8-15-10 Permit - Penalty for operating without permit; disposition of proceeds from penalties. (a) Any person operating a public warehouse without a permit required by this chapter shall be subject to a penalty of not over $1,000, which may be collected in a civil action instituted at the instance of the Governor, the Attorney General or the Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries.
