Section 45-37A-51.245 Retroactive deferred retirement option plan. (a) Effective July 1, 2002,
a participant who retires at least 90 days following July 1, 2002, who has then completed
at least 23 years of credited service, and who is otherwise entitled to retire and receive
a normal retirement benefit, shall have the opportunity to elect a back drop plan. A participant
eligible for the back drop plan can elect in writing at his or her retirement to retroactively
drop his or her credited service in excess of 20 years, for a period of months not exceeding
36 months immediately preceding the date of retirement, the back drop period; provided that
the beginning of the back drop period may not extend past the earliest date on which the participant
would have qualified for a normal retirement benefit. A participant who is not actively employed

Section 5-13B-6 Standards for approval. (a) In deciding whether to approve an application for
a proposed acquisition under this article, the superintendent shall consider whether the acquisition
may: (1) Be detrimental to the safety and soundness of the Alabama state bank or the Alabama
bank holding company ; (2) Result in a substantial reduction of competition in this state;
or (3) Have a significantly adverse effect on the convenience and needs of the community or

from tents, motor vehicles, etc.; inspection by State Fire Marshal, etc., of premises where

Section 8-17-271 Definitions. As used in this article, the following terms shall have the following
meanings: (1) AGENT. Any person authorized by the Department of Revenue to purchase and affix

Section 27-52-3 Additional powers; guidelines. (a) The commissioner shall, by regulation, establish
additional powers and duties of the plan and may adopt such rules as are necessary and proper

finds that the United States Department of Justice has unnecessarily and recklessly threatened
Alabama law enforcement officers with personal law suits if the officer appears to make what
the Department of Justice deems a misstep in enforcing the Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer
