Section 28-3A-23 Regulation of grant of licenses. (a) No license prescribed in this code shall
be issued or renewed until the provisions of this code have been complied with and the filing
and license fees other than those levied by a municipality are paid to the board. (b) Licenses
shall be granted and issued by the board only to reputable individuals, to associations whose
members are reputable individuals, or to reputable corporations organized under the laws of
the State of Alabama or duly qualified thereunder to do business in Alabama, or, in the case
of manufacturers, duly registered under the laws of Alabama, and then only when it appears
that all officers and directors of the corporation are reputable individuals. (c) Every license
issued under this code shall be constantly and conspicuously displayed on the licensed premises.

Section 31-1-6 Professional licenses and certificates for spouses of active duty military personnel.
(a) This section shall be known and may be cited as the Military Family Jobs Opportunity Act.
(b) Except as provided in subsection (h), and notwithstanding other provisions of law, this
section shall apply to any board, agency, commission, or other entity providing professional
licenses or certificates, or both, for the purpose of employment in the State of Alabama.
On or before January 1, 2019, each board, commission, or agency providing professional licenses
or certificates, or both, shall promulgate rules in conformity with this section for the purpose
of implementing its requirements. The rules shall provide a method of accomplishing both of

Section 45-37-243.02 Levy of tax. (a) As used in this section, the following terms have the
meanings here given them: (1) COUNTY. Any county now or hereafter subject to this subpart.

Section 2-22-9 Inspection fee; monthly statement; collection fee; disposition of fees; overpayments;

all commercial fertilizer sold in this state for use therein or sold for importation into

Section 27-31B-3 Licensing. (a) Any captive insurance company, when permitted by its articles
of association, charter, or other organizational document, may apply to the commissioner for
a license to do any and all insurance defined in Sections 27-5-2, 27-5-4, and 27-5-5, in subdivisions
