Section 38-15-6 Fees. (a)(1) The department may charge a fee for the registration. The fee may be set by rule of the department and may be based on the type of facility and the capacity of the facility. After the initial registration approval, the department may charge a renewal fee annually on each anniversary of the effective date of the registration. The fees are for the purpose of administering the registration program and enforcing the requirements specified in this chapter and shall be set accordingly. (2) The department, at least every five years, shall analyze initial application fees and annual fees issued by it to ensure the appropriate fee amounts are charged. (b) In addition to fees established by the department, the department shall also charge the following fees: (1) A fee in the amount of 50 percent of the established application fee when an existing registered entity moves a facility to a new physical address. Section 2-27-12 Sampling and inspection. (a) The commissioner or his agent is authorized to enter upon any public or private premise or carrier at reasonable times during regular business hours in the performance of his duties relating to pesticides, devices and records pertaining to same. It shall be a violation of the penalty provisions of this article for any person to refuse to allow such entrance for sampling and inspection purposes. Section 34-29-73 Examination procedures. (a) The board shall hold at least two examinations and may hold additional examinations as it deems necessary. The executive director or his or her designee shall give appropriate public notice of the time and place of the examination at least 120 days in advance of the date set forth for the examination. (a) An applicant is eligible for a license as a professional geologist in the State of Alabama if the applicant meets the following minimum requirements: (1) Is of good moral character. Section 34-11-8 Renewal of certificates; expired licenses; inactive status; retirement. (a) The board, by rule, shall establish a procedure for renewing certificates of licensure on an annual or a biennial basis. It shall be the duty of the board to notify every licensee under this chapter of the expiration of the license and the fee required for the renewal.
