Section 8-16-102 Cornmeal and grits to be sold in five to 200 pound packages; exceptions. (a)
No person shall sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, have in possession with intent to sell,
pack or deliver in this state cornmeal or grits in packages of sizes other than five pounds,
10 pounds, 25 pounds, 50 pounds, 100 pounds and 200 pounds; provided, that any person may
weigh and sell from bulk cornmeal or grits any number of pounds desired by a customer on order
and provided further, that any person may sell, offer for sale, expose for sale, have in possession
with intent to sell, pack or deliver in this state cornmeal or grits in weight packages weighing
less than five pounds. (b) For the purpose of this section, the term "cornmeal"
shall be deemed to include all products in the form of meal or grits derived from corn, with

Section 8-16-103 Flour to be sold in packages of five to 200 pounds; exceptions. (a) No person

Section 8-17-275 Violations. (a) A manufacturer, wholesale dealer, agent, or any other person
or entity who knowingly sells or offers to sell cigarettes, other than through retail sale,
in violation of Section 8-17-272, shall be subject to a civil penalty not to exceed one hundred
dollars ($100) for each pack of the cigarettes sold or offered for sale provided that in no
case shall the penalty against a person or entity for that violation exceed one hundred thousand
dollars ($100,000) during any 30-day period. (b) A retail dealer who knowingly sells or offers
to sell cigarettes in violation of Section 8-17-272 shall be subject to a civil penalty not
to exceed one hundred dollars ($100) for each pack of the cigarettes sold or offered for sale,
provided that in no case shall the penalty against any retail dealer exceed twenty-five thousand

Section 20-1-73 Minimum requirements as to amounts of vitamins and other ingredients - Cornmeal
and grits. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to manufacture, mix, compound, sell, trade,
or offer for sale or trade for human consumption in this state any cornmeal or grits unless
the following vitamins and other ingredients are contained in each pound of such product:
(1) Not less than two milligrams and not more than three milligrams of vitamin B1 (thiamine);
(2) Not less than 1.2 milligrams and not more than 1.8 milligrams of riboflavin; (3) Not less
than 16 milligrams and not more than 24 milligrams of niacin or niacin amide; and (4) Not

Section 32-13-3 Authority to sell; notice; bill of sale; records; voiding of sale; title. (a)
A person, as defined in Section 40-12-240, in possession of a motor vehicle that is considered
an abandoned motor vehicle may sell the motor vehicle at a public auction. (b)(1) Notice of
the date, time, and place of the sale and a description of the motor vehicle to be sold, including
the year, make, model, and vehicle identification number, shall be given by publication once
a week for two successive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which
the sale is to be held, provided the vehicle is currently registered in the county. In counties
in which no newspaper is published, notice shall be given by posting such notice in a conspicuous

for any person, firm, corporation or association to sell or offer for sale, to take from any
reef or have in his possession or to buy or offer to buy any oysters whose length is less

license or permit issued by the Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources or his

firm, association, or corporation who takes, catches, kills, or has in possession at any time,

Section 33-5A-4 Liens and fees; sale. Except for vessels subject to Section 33-5A-5: (1) A
person who removes, stores, or sells a vessel in accordance with this chapter shall have a
lien on the vessel for all of the following: a. The reasonable fees connected with the removal
