Section 40-12-10 License inspectors generally; when taxes due and payable; collection and distribution of penalties and citation fees on delinquent licenses. Section 40-17-350 Transportation of motor fuel; inspections. (a) Each person operating a refinery or terminal in Alabama shall prepare and provide to the driver of every highway vehicle receiving motor fuel at the facility a shipping document setting out on its face the destination state as represented to the terminal operator by the shipper or the shipper's agent. Failure to comply with this subsection may result in a department imposed penalty of not less than five hundred dollars ($500) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), to be multiplied by the sum of the current violation plus prior violations of this subsection. Section 2-16-3 Permit required; refusal or revocation of permit; appeal and review. (a) No person, firm or corporation shall operate a public hatchery, and no chick dealer or jobber shall operate within this state without first obtaining an annual permit from the state Commissioner of Agriculture and Industries to so operate. The fee to be paid for such annual permit shall be established by the Board of Agriculture and Industries not to exceed sixty dollars ($60), which shall be due and payable on January 1 of each year; and, unless such permit fee is paid within 30 days, a 15 percent delinquent penalty shall be added.
