Section 45-23A-91.08 Powers of the authority. (a) The authority shall have the following powers,
together with all powers incidental thereto or necessary to the discharge thereof in corporate
form: (1) To have succession by its corporate name for the duration of time (which may be
perpetuity, subject to Section 45-23A-91.19) specified in its certificate of incorporation.
(2) To sue and be sued in its own name and to prosecute and defend civil actions in any court
having jurisdiction of the subject matter and of the parties. (3) To adopt and make use of

Section 45-37A-53 Abatement of weeds. (a) All weeds growing upon private property within municipalities
of the state having a population of 300,000 inhabitants or more, according to the last or
any subsequent federal census, which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature or attain such
a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry, or which are otherwise noxious or dangerous,

Section 2-22-2 Definitions. When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following
