Section 8-6-71 (Repealed effective January 1, 1997) Definitions. For the purposes of this article, unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section: Assignment. Such term includes any written stock power, bond power, bill of sale, deed, declaration of trust, or other instrument of transfer. Claim of beneficial interest.
