Section 9-16-90 Environmental protection performance standards. (a) Any permit issued pursuant
to this article to conduct surface mining operations shall require that such surface coal
mining operations will meet all applicable performance standards of this article, and such
other requirements as the regulatory authority shall promulgate. (b) General performance standards
shall be applicable to all surface coal mining and reclamation operations and shall require
the operation as a minimum to: (1) Conduct surface coal mining operations so as to maximize
the utilization and conservation of the solid fuel resource being recovered so that reaffecting
the land in the future through surface coal mining can be minimized; (2) Restore the land
affected to a condition capable of supporting the uses which it was capable of supporting
prior to any mining, or higher or better uses of which there is reasonable likelihood, so

Section 11-65-10 Powers and duties of commission. When authorized by one or more elections
as provided in Section 11-65-4, a commission shall have the powers and duties necessary to
license, regulate, and supervise horse racing and pari-mutuel wagering thereon and greyhound

Section 7-9A-706 When initial financing statement suffices to continue effectiveness of financing
statement. (a) Initial financing statement in lieu of continuation statement. The filing of
an initial financing statement in the office specified in Section 7-9A-501 continues the effectiveness
of a financing statement filed before January 1, 2002, if: (1) the filing of an initial financing
statement in that office would be effective to perfect a security interest under this article;

Section 7-8-603 Savings clause. (a) This act does not affect an action or proceeding commenced
before this act takes effect. (b) If a security interest in a security is perfected at the
date this act takes effect, and the action by which the security interest was perfected would

REGULAR SESSION BY ACT 2014-144 EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2017. (a) If a domestic limited liability
company is merging under this chapter, the domestic limited liability company or other business
entity surviving or resulting from the merger shall file articles of merger in the Office
of the Secretary of State. If a domestic limited liability company is filing the articles

in this state which have a population of not less than 175,000 nor more than 275,000 according
to the last or any subsequent federal decennial census. (b)(1) All employees of any such city

Section 22-9A-22 Copies or data from the system of vital statistics. (a) In accordance with
Section 22-9A-21 and any rules adopted pursuant to that section: (1) The State Registrar and
other custodians of vital records authorized by the State Registrar to issue certified copies

(b), a financing statement is sufficient only if it: (1) provides the name of the debtor;

Section 7-9A-512 Amendment of financing statement. (a) Amendment of information in financing
statement. Subject to Section 7-9A-509, a person may add or delete collateral covered by,
continue or terminate the effectiveness of, or, subject to subsection (e), otherwise amend
the information provided in, a financing statement by filing an amendment that: (1) identifies,
by its file number, the initial financing statement to which the amendment relates; and (2)
if the amendment relates to an initial financing statement filed or recorded in a filing office
described in Section 7-9A-501(a)(1), provides the information specified in Section 7-9A-502(b).
(b) Period of effectiveness not affected. Except as otherwise provided in Section 7-9A-515,
