Section 7-9A-614 Contents and form of notification before disposition of collateral: Consumer-goods
transaction. In a consumer-goods transaction, the following rules apply: (1) A notification
of disposition must provide the following information: (A) the information specified in Section
7-9A-613(1); (B) a description of any liability for a deficiency of the person to which the
notification is sent; (C) a telephone number from which the amount that must be paid to the
secured party to redeem the collateral under Section 7-9A-623 is available; and (D) a telephone
number or mailing address from which additional information concerning the disposition and
the obligation secured is available. (2) A particular phrasing of the notification is not
required. (3) The following form of notification, when completed, provides sufficient information:

Section 7-9A-616 Explanation of calculation of surplus or deficiency. (a) Definitions. In this
section: (1) "Explanation" means a writing that: (A) states the amount of the surplus
or deficiency; (B) provides an explanation in accordance with subsection (c) of how the secured
party calculated the surplus or deficiency; (C) states, if applicable, that future debits,
credits, charges, including additional credit service charges or interest, rebates, and expenses
may affect the amount of the surplus or deficiency; and (D) provides a telephone number or
mailing address from which additional information concerning the transaction is available.

Section 11-40-65 Filing petition for foreclosure; form of petition; notice. (a) After a municipal
code lien has been recorded with the office of the probate judge of the county in which the
real property lies, the Class 2 municipality may identify those properties on which to commence
a judicial in rem foreclosure in accordance with this article, except that those properties
the Class 2 municipality identifies as owner occupied shall not be subject to judicial in
rem foreclosure under this article. The Class 2 municipality shall not file a petition for
judicial in rem foreclosure in accordance with this article for a period of six months following

Except in a consumer-goods transaction, the following rules apply: (1) The contents of a notification

Section 35-10-91 Payoff statement; notice. (a) A person liable for payment or performance of
the obligation secured by the real property described in a security instrument who makes proper
notice pursuant to this section shall be entitled to receive a payoff statement. (b) Proper
