Section 41-9-682 Function and powers generally. (a) It shall be the function and main purpose
of the board to honor those, living or dead, who, by achievement or service, have made outstanding
and lasting contributions to music in Alabama or elsewhere. The board may adopt such rules,
regulations and bylaws as may be needed to carry out its functions. Also, it may conduct surveys
and polls and may appoint such committees and representatives as it may determine necessary
or desirable. The board may acquire, construct, install, equip, lease, manage and operate
buildings and other facilities consisting of any one or more of the following to be located
in Colbert County, Alabama: (i) a music hall of fame and exhibition facility for the display

Section 7-2A-501 Default: Procedure. (1) Whether the lessor or the lessee is in default under
a lease contract is determined by the lease agreement and this article. (2) If the lessor
or the lessee is in default under the lease contract, the party seeking enforcement has rights
and remedies as provided in this article and, except as limited by this article, as provided
in the lease agreement. (3) If the lessor or the lessee is in default under the lease contract,
the party seeking enforcement may reduce the party's claim to judgment, or otherwise enforce

Section 16-17A-11 Pledge of revenues; security documents. (a) Any pledge of any revenues of
an authority or university affiliate, including, without limitation, tax revenues made available
to an authority, shall be valid and binding from the time it is made, and the revenues or
taxes so pledged and thereafter received by the authority shall immediately become subject
to the lien of that pledge without any physical delivery thereof or further act. The lien
of that pledge shall be valid and binding against all parties having claims of any kind against
the authority, irrespective of whether the parties have actual notice thereof. The resolution
