Section 7-9A-502 Contents of financing statement; record of mortgage as financing statement;
time of filing financing statement. (a) Sufficiency of financing statement. Subject to subsection
(b), a financing statement is sufficient only if it: (1) provides the name of the debtor;
(2) provides the name of the secured party or a representative of the secured party; and (3)
indicates the collateral covered by the financing statement. (b) Real-property-related financing
statements. Except as otherwise provided in Section 7-9A-501(b), to be sufficient, a financing

Section 7-9A-511 Secured party of record. (a) Secured party of record. A secured party of record
with respect to a financing statement is a person whose name is provided as the name of the
secured party or a representative of the secured party in an initial financing statement that
has been filed. If an initial financing statement is filed under Section 7-9A-514(a), the
assignee named in the initial financing statement is the secured party of record with respect

Section 7-9A-518 Claim concerning inaccurate or wrongfully filed record. (a) Statement with
respect to record indexed under person's name. A person may file in the filing office an information
statement with respect to a record indexed there under the person's name if the person believes

Section 7-11-106 Required refilings. (1) If a security interest is perfected or has priority
on February 1, 1982, as to all persons or as to certain persons without any filing or recording,
and if the filing of a financing statement would be required for the perfection or priority
of the security interest against those persons under the new U.C.C., the perfection and priority
rights of the security interest continue until three years after February 1, 1982. The perfection
will then lapse unless a financing statement is filed as provided in subsection (2) or unless

agreement. (a) Financing statement naming original debtor. Except as otherwise provided in
this section, a filed financing statement naming an original debtor is effective to perfect

Section 7-9A-310 When filing required to perfect security interest or agricultural lien; security
interests and agricultural liens to which filing provisions do not apply. (a) General rule:

Section 7-9A-506 Effect of errors or omissions. (a) Minor errors and omissions. A financing
statement substantially satisfying the requirements of this part is effective, even if it
has minor errors or omissions, unless the errors or omissions make the financing statement
