Section 27-44-8 Powers and duties of association. (a) If a member insurer is an impaired insurer, the association may, in its discretion and subject to any conditions imposed by the association that do not impair the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer, and that are approved by the commissioner: (1) Guarantee or reinsure, or cause to be guaranteed, assumed, or reinsured, any or all of the covered policies of the impaired insurers. (2) Provide such moneys, pledges, notes, guarantees, or other means as are proper to effectuate subdivision (1), and assure payment of the contractual obligations of the impaired insurer pending action under subdivision (1). Section 40-29A-3 Tax amnesty program. (a) The department shall develop and implement a tax amnesty program in accordance with the provisions of this chapter. The commissioner may provide by rule as necessary for the administration and implementation of the program. The commissioner shall publicize the program in order to maximize the public awareness of and participation in the program. The commissioner, for purpose of publicizing the program, may contract with any advertising agency within or outside this state and use public service announcements, pamphlets, mail notices, and print, television, and radio announcements. (a) The party states hereby create and establish a joint public entity known as the Interstate Commission of Nurse Licensure Compact Administrators. (a) For the purposes of this section, public assistance means money or property provided directly or indirectly to eligible persons through programs of the federal government, the state, or any political subdivision thereof, including any program administered by a public housing authority. Section 27-5A-7 Required contract provisions; reinsurance intermediary-managers. Transactions between a reinsurance intermediary-manager and the reinsurer it represents in that capacity shall only be entered into pursuant to a written contract, specifying the responsibilities of each party, which shall be approved by the reinsurer's board of directors. Section 8-32-3 Requirements for selling or offering to sell service contracts. (a) Either the provider or its designee shall: (1) Provide a receipt for, or other written evidence of, the purchase of the service contract to the contract holder.
