Section 7-9A-519 Numbering, maintaining, and indexing records; communicating information provided
in records. (a) Filing office duties. For each record filed in a filing office, the filing
office shall: (1) assign a unique number to the filed record; (2) create a record that bears
the number assigned to the filed record and the date and time of filing; (3) maintain the
filed record for public inspection; and (4) index the filed record in accordance with subsections

Section 35-11-233 Assignment of lien; transfer of lien on real property to other security.
(a) Any claim for which a lien is provided in this division may be assigned; and the assignee
shall thereby be invested with all the rights of the original holder of the lien, and be entitled
to all his remedies to enforce them. The assignee shall have the right to consolidate all
such claims in one statement to be filed as herein provided; and the length of time for the
filing of said claim shall be measured by the greatest length of time for the filing of any

Section 7-9A-304 Law governing perfection and priority of security interests in deposit accounts.
(a) Law of bank's jurisdiction governs. The local law of a bank's jurisdiction governs perfection,
the effect of perfection or nonperfection, and the priority of a security interest in a deposit
account maintained with that bank. (b) Bank's jurisdiction. The following rules determine
a bank's jurisdiction for purposes of this part: (1) If an agreement between the bank and
the debtor governing the deposit account expressly provides that a particular jurisdiction
is the bank's jurisdiction for purposes of this part, this article, or the Uniform Commercial

Section 35-8A-411 Release of liens. (a) In the case of a sale of a unit where delivery of an
offering statement is required pursuant to Section 35-8A-402(c) or a disclosure is made pursuant

Section 5-19-6 Copies of instruments signed by debtors to be furnished to debtors; required
statement in contracts, etc.; limitation on disclosure requirements; intent, applicability
of limitation. (a) Any creditor, when extending credit with respect to a consumer credit transaction,

Section 7-11-106 Required refilings. (1) If a security interest is perfected or has priority
on February 1, 1982, as to all persons or as to certain persons without any filing or recording,
and if the filing of a financing statement would be required for the perfection or priority
of the security interest against those persons under the new U.C.C., the perfection and priority
rights of the security interest continue until three years after February 1, 1982. The perfection
will then lapse unless a financing statement is filed as provided in subsection (2) or unless
the security interest is perfected otherwise than by filing. (2) A financing statement may
