Section 7-9A-312 Perfection of certain security interests by filing; temporary perfection.
(a) Perfection by filing permitted. A security interest in chattel paper, negotiable documents,
instruments, or investment property may be perfected by filing. (b) Control or possession
of certain collateral. Except as otherwise provided in Section 7-9A-315(c) and (d) for proceeds:
(1) a security interest in a deposit account may be perfected only by control under Section
7-9A-314; (2) and except as otherwise provided in Section 7-9A-308(d), a security interest
in a letter-of-credit right may be perfected only by control under Section 7-9A-314; and (3)

Section 8-6-140 Definitions. For the purposes of this article, the following words have the
following meanings unless the context otherwise requires: (1) BENEFICIARY FORM. A registration
of a security which indicates the present owner of the security and the intention of the owner

Section 7-9A-324 Priority of purchase-money security interests. (a) General rule: Purchase-money
priority. Except as otherwise provided in subsection (g), a perfected purchase-money security

Section 40-29-30 Legal effect of certificate of sale of personal property and deed of real
property. (a) Certificate of sale of property other than real property. In all cases of a
sale of property (other than real property) pursuant to Section 40-29-26, the certificate

Section 8-6-2 Definitions. When used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires,
the following terms shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them by this section:

Section 32-20-2 Definitions. For purposes of this chapter, the following terms shall have the

of this section requires a determination of the value of a security, or securities, in the
