Section 45-38-141.06 Financial powers and rights. (a) The authority organized or operating pursuant to this part, in addition to all other powers now or hereafter granted by law, shall have the following powers and rights: (1) To borrow money for use for any of its corporate purposes. (2) To sell, transfer, convey, grant options to purchase, or lease all or any part of its system or systems for such consideration and on such terms as it shall deem advisable and in the best interest of the authority. (3) To consent and agree to the assignment or payment of any income received from the investment of any moneys or funds of the authority to any other public corporation or public entity, including, without limitation, the county or the State of Alabama. Section 19-3B-103 Definitions. In this chapter: (1) ACTION, with respect to an act of a trustee, includes a failure to act. (a) Every hospital licensed under this article shall be open to inspection to the extent authorized in this section by employees and agents of the State Board of Health, under rules as shall be promulgated by the board with the advice and consent of the advisory board. Employees and agents of the board shall also inspect unlicensed and suspected unlicensed facilities. (a) Subject to limitation provided in Section 26-2A-154, a conservator shall have all of the powers conferred in this section and any additional powers now or hereafter conferred by law on trustees in this state.
