Section 7-7-404 No liability for good faith delivery pursuant to document of title. A bailee
that in good faith has received goods and delivered or otherwise disposed of the goods according
to the terms of a document of title or pursuant to this article is not liable for the goods
even if: (1) The person from which the bailee received the goods did not have authority to
procure the document or to dispose of the goods; or (2) The person to which the bailee delivered

Section 7-7-603 Conflicting claims; interpleader. If more than one person claims title to or
possession of the goods, the bailee is excused from delivery until the bailee has a reasonable
time to ascertain the validity of the adverse claims or to commence an action for interpleader.

Section 7-2A-525 Lessor's right to possession of goods. (1) If a lessor discovers the lessee
to be insolvent, the lessor may refuse to deliver the goods. (2) After a default by the lessee
under the lease contract of the type described in Section 7-2A-523(1) or 7-2A-523(3)(a) or,
if agreed, after other default by the lessee, the lessor has the right to take possession
of the goods. If the lease contract so provides, the lessor may require the lessee to assemble
the goods and make them available to the lessor at a place to be designated by the lessor
which is reasonably convenient to both parties. Without removal, the lessor may render unusable
any goods employed in trade or business, and may dispose of goods on the lessee's premises

Section 7-7-401 Irregularities in issue of receipt or bill or conduct of issuer. The obligations
imposed by this article on an issuer apply to a document of title even if: (1) The document
does not comply with the requirements of this article or of any other statute, rule, or regulation

Section 7-7-302 Through bills of lading and similar documents of title. (a) The issuer of a
through bill of lading, or other document of title embodying an undertaking to be performed
in part by a person acting as its agent or by a performing carrier, is liable to any person
entitled to recover on the bill or other document for any breach by the other person or the
performing carrier of its obligation under the bill or other document. However, to the extent
that the bill or other document covers an undertaking to be performed overseas or in territory
not contiguous to the continental United States or an undertaking including matters other

Section 7-9A-310 When filing required to perfect security interest or agricultural lien; security
interests and agricultural liens to which filing provisions do not apply. (a) General rule:
Perfection by filing. Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b) and Section 7-9A-312(b),

Section 7-7-105 Reissuance in alternative medium. (a) Upon request of a person entitled under
an electronic document of title, the issuer of the electronic document may issue a tangible
document of title as a substitute for the electronic document if: (1) The person entitled
under the electronic document surrenders control of the document to the issuer; and (2) The
tangible document when issued contains a statement that it is issued in substitution for the

Section 7-7-307 Lien of carrier. (a) A carrier has a lien on the goods covered by a bill of
lading or on the proceeds thereof in its possession for charges after the date of the carrier's
receipt of the goods for storage or transportation, including demurrage and terminal charges,
and for expenses necessary for preservation of the goods incident to their transportation
or reasonably incurred in their sale pursuant to law. However, against a purchaser for value
of a negotiable bill of lading, a carrier's lien is limited to charges stated in the bill
or the applicable tariffs or, if no charges are stated, a reasonable charge. (b) A lien for
