to any person for services as a producer or service representative within this state unless
the person holds a currently valid license as a producer or service representative as to the
kind or class of business involved as required by this chapter. (b) Any insurer or producer
violating this section shall be liable for a fine in an amount of up to three times the amount
of the commission paid. The fine shall be levied and collected by the commissioner. Upon failure
to pay the fine the commissioner may, in the commissioner's discretion, revoke the license
of the producer or the insurer's certificate of authority. (c) The provisions of this section
shall not prevent any of the following: (1) Payment of renewal or other deferred commissions
to any person solely because the person has ceased to hold a license to act as a producer.

Section 7-3-311 Accord and satisfaction by use of instrument. (a) If a person against whom
a claim is asserted proves that (i) that person in good faith tendered an instrument to the
claimant as full satisfaction of the claim, (ii) the amount of the claim was unliquidated
or subject to a bona fide dispute, and (iii) the claimant obtained payment of the instrument,
the following subsections apply. (b) Unless subsection (c) applies, the claim is discharged

Section 7-3-603 Tender of payment. (a) If tender of payment of an amount due on an instrument
is made to a person entitled to enforce the instrument, the effect of tender is governed by
principles of law applicable to tender of payment under a simple contract and by subsections
(b), (c) and (d). (b) If tender of payment of an amount due on an instrument is made to a
person entitled to enforce the instrument and the tender is refused, there is discharge, to

Section 29-2-160 Methods of payment; eligibility of estate to receive compensation. (a) The
committee in its discretion may direct that payment of compensation claims be in a lump sum
or in such installments as it deems appropriate, but no part of such claim shall be directed

Section 35-8A-408 Purchaser's right to cancel. (a) A person required to deliver the required
documents or report pursuant to Section 35-8A-402(c) or 35-8A-407 shall provide a purchaser
of a unit with a copy of the offering statement and all amendments thereto not later than
the date of any contract of sale. Unless a purchaser is given the required documents more
than seven days before execution of a contract for the purchase of a unit, the purchaser may
cancel the contract within seven days after first receiving the required documents or report.

Section 27-9A-10 Nonresident license. (a) Unless refused licensure pursuant to Section 27-9A-12,
