Section 7-2A-522 Lessee's right to goods on lessor's insolvency. (1) Subject to subsection
(2) and even though the goods have not been shipped, a lessee who has paid a part or all of
the rent and security for goods identified to a lease contract (Section 7-2A-217) on making
and keeping good a tender of any unpaid portion of the rent and security due under the lease
contract may recover the goods identified from the lessor if the lessor becomes insolvent
within 10 days after receipt of the first installment of rent and security. (2) A lessee acquires
the right to recover goods identified to a lease contract only if they conform to the lease

Section 7-2A-405 Excused performance. Subject to Section 7-2A-404 on substituted performance,
the following rules apply: (a) Delay in delivery or nondelivery in whole or in part by a lessor
or a supplier who complies with paragraphs (b) and (c) is not a default under the lease contract
if performance as agreed has been made impracticable by the occurrence of a contingency the
nonoccurrence of which was a basic assumption on which the lease contract was made or by compliance

Section 7-9A-407 Restrictions on creation or enforcement of security interest in leasehold
interest or in lessor's residual interest. (a) Term restricting assignment generally ineffective.
Except as otherwise provided in subsection (b), a term in a lease agreement is ineffective
to the extent that it: (1) prohibits, restricts, or requires the consent of a party to the
lease to the assignment or transfer of, or the creation, attachment, perfection, or enforcement
of a security interest in, an interest of a party under the lease contract or in the lessor's
residual interest in the goods; or (2) provides that the assignment or transfer or the creation,

meanings: (1) ASSOCIATION. An association or unit owners' association, as defined in Section

Section 40-18-15 Deductions for individuals generally. (a) No deduction shall be allowed for
any losses, expenses, or interest deferred or disallowed pursuant to 26 U.S.C. § 267 or for

municipal sales and use taxes. (a) The Diabetes Trust Fund, Inc., and any of its branches

Section 8-20-5 Limitations on cancellations, modifications, terminations, and nonrenewals of
franchise relationships. (a) Notwithstanding the terms, provisions, or conditions of any agreement
