Section 34-27C-4 License application; renewal; fee. (a) Commencing on May 21, 2009, any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing private security services in this state shall apply to the board for a license or certification. Any security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company providing security services in this state before May 21, 2009, may continue to engage in business operations pending a final determination by the board, provided such security officer, armed security officer, or contract security company files an application for license. This chapter shall not abrogate the terms of a contract existing on May 21, 2009. (b) An application for licensure or certification shall include all of the following information: (1) The full name, home address, post office box, and actual street address of the business of the applicant. Section 33-5-75 Authority of Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources to cancel certification or to suspend or revoke privilege of operating vessel; procedures. (a) The Commissioner of Conservation and Natural Resources may cancel any boater safety certification upon determining that the holder of the certification was not entitled to the issuance or that the holder failed to give the correct or required information in the application for certification. Section 34-27-68 Commission may seek injunctive relief, etc., for violation of article; investigation; revocation of registration. (a) If it appears that a person, firm, corporation, or any business entity has engaged, or is about to engage, in an act or practice constituting a violation of a provision of this article or rule or order of the commission, the commission, through the Attorney General, may institute legal actions to enjoin the act or practice and to enforce compliance with this article or any rule or order of the commission or to have a receiver or conservator appointed. (a) The board may refuse to license any person or establishment for violation of this chapter.
