Section 7-9A-207 Rights and duties of secured party having possession or control of collateral.
(a) Duty of care when secured party in possession. Except as otherwise provided in subsection
(d), a secured party shall use reasonable care in the custody and preservation of collateral
in the secured party's possession. In the case of chattel paper or an instrument, reasonable
care includes taking necessary steps to preserve rights against prior parties unless otherwise
agreed. (b) Expenses, risks, duties, and rights when secured party in possession. Except as
otherwise provided in subsection (d), if a secured party has possession of collateral: (1)
reasonable expenses, including the cost of insurance and payment of taxes or other charges,
incurred in the custody, preservation, use, or operation of the collateral are chargeable

Section 8-9A-8 Defenses, liability, and protection of transferee. (a) A transfer is not voidable
under Section 8-9A-4(a) against a person who took in good faith and for a reasonably equivalent
value or against any subsequent transferee or obligee who took in good faith. (b) Except as
otherwise provided in this section, to the extent a transfer is voidable in an action by a
creditor under Section 8-9A-7(a)(1), the creditor may recover judgment for the value of the
asset transferred, as adjusted under subsection (c), or the amount necessary to satisfy the

Section 11-58-6 Requirements as to leasing of medical clinics or clinical facilities; disposition

Section 5-18-15 Interest rates, charges, and fees. (a) Maximum rates of interest and charge.
Every licensee under this chapter may contract for and receive as interest on any loan of
money less than one thousand five hundred dollars ($1,500) an amount at a rate not exceeding
